Punimoru Privacy Policy

Introduction

“Punimoru ~ Rainy-Day Bath Cleaning ~” (the “App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles.

The App is part of the “Koyomikko” series. Practices common to the series are summarized in the Koyomikko Privacy Policy (Japanese). This page covers everything that applies to the App in English.

Information the App collects directly

The App does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. Game progress data (settings such as volume, the three-day cleaning record, the total number of moru sent off, whether the intro has been shown, etc.) is stored only on your device (UserDefaults) and is never sent to the developer’s servers.

Information handled by third-party services

Google AdMob (advertising)

The App shows ads through Google AdMob (a banner ad on the title screen, and a full-screen ad that may appear between cleaning rounds). AdMob may access device information (such as approximate region and device type) to serve ads. For details, please see the Google Privacy Policy.

The App serves ads with the following settings:

No personalized (interest-based) ads. Every ad request is sent as non-personalized.
Ad requests are tagged for child-directed treatment (under 13 / under the age of consent).
Ad content is limited to the General (all ages) rating.
There are no rewarded (watch-a-video-for-a-reward) ads.

Open-Meteo (weather)

For a seasonal touch (humidity affects how many moru appear), the App fetches the current humidity from the public Open-Meteo API. It does not use the location (GPS) permission. It only makes a rough regional guess from your device’s time zone (e.g. Asia/Tokyo) and sends no personally identifying information. If the weather cannot be fetched, the game plays normally at the default difficulty.

Tracking

The App does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Therefore, it does not show the App Tracking Transparency (tracking permission) dialog.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom

In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent message from Google’s consent management platform (UMP) may be shown before ads are served. The game remains fully playable even if you do not consent. In either case, personalized ads are not served.

Children’s privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and have any concerns, please contact us below.

Data storage and deletion

All game data is stored in your device’s local storage. Deleting the App erases this data.
